Proposal Guidelines
The NPEC 2025 invites special sessions (SSs) proposal on emerging topics which are not listed in conference tracks. A proposal for a Special Session should include the following information:
- Title of the Special Session
- Brief description (approx. 100 words) highlighting the importance of the topic
- Names and contact details of 2-3 session chairs
- Short IEEE-style CV of the organizers
- List of at least 10 potential authors and their affiliations
Organization of Special Sessions

Publicity: SS organizers should promote their session to ensure sufficient paper submissions.

Review Process: Similar to regular papers, reviews must be done by SS organizers, with final decisions made by the session co-chairs.

Conflict of Interest: SS organizers must declare conflicts of interest before reviewing papers.

Restrictions:
- An individual cannot be a (co-)author of more than two papers in the same session.
- Papers from organizers must not exceed 60% of the session content.

Successful Special Session Criteria: At least 6 accepted papers from at least 3 independent institutions.

Waiver: A complimentary full registration is granted for successful sessions with at least 6 papers.
